Exclusive event: AWS Innovate: Cloud & AI, 29 October 2026 in Sarajevo, for business and technology decision-makers

Danijel Milosevic

AWS (Amazon Web Services) and allOps are jointly organising a full-day event, AWS Innovate: Cloud & AI, on 29 October 2026 at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Sarajevo.

The event covers the use of innovative cloud technologies, security protocols and artificial intelligence in regulated sectors such as finance and telecommunications, as well as in the public sector.

It is designed for senior business and technology decision-makers and will offer insights to drive stronger business growth and make the most of modern technology.

The programme closes with a dedicated Q&A session, followed by an evening of relaxed networking on the hotel rooftop.

Places are limited to keep discussions focused. Register here.

Five key sessions that deliver value and growth

The business landscape shifts from one quarter to the next. Being aware of rapid change and being ready for it are two different business challenges, especially in regulated industries and the public sector.

Given the sensitivity of data, regulatory requirements and the need for uninterrupted service availability, change in these sectors calls for careful planning and transparent costing down to the last line item.

The day therefore opens with Cloud-Powered Growth, covering case studies, the cost-effectiveness of the AWS cloud in modern business, and frameworks for agile working and continuous growth.

Next comes Migrate Smart, Modernize Fast, where attendees will learn proven strategies and tools for migrating and modernising applications and services, again with case studies and an overview of modern databases.

AI is discussed every day, and it can be hard to tell what is actually relevant. The third session is therefore called Beyond the Hype: Practical AI That Moves the Needle. Attendees will hear directly from people who develop and deploy leading AI models how AWS generative and agentic AI delivers measurable business results across a wide range of industries.

AI depends on a strong data management strategy. The Data Without Limits session will present proven approaches and services for advanced data analytics and storage on AWS.

The series of talks concludes with Trust at Scale: Security for the Regulated Enterprise, which addresses the pressing topics of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. Speakers will present best practices in finance, telecommunications and public services through the lens of PCI DSS, GDPR, NIS2 and DORA.

The formal programme will be followed by discussion and networking in a relaxed setting.

Best practices straight from cloud leaders

Attendees will be hosted by representatives of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and allOps.

AWS is the Amazon division that provides cloud computing services. Its model of renting computing power and storage on demand, paying for usage rather than fixed bills, defined the modern market. It launched in 2006 with two core services: Simple Storage Service (S3) and Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).

Today it offers more than 200 services spanning storage, databases, compute, machine learning and security. Its data centres around the world allow businesses to remain continuously available to their customers at a level that meets even the most demanding use cases.

AWS holds the largest market share ahead of competitors such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and its clients include corporations such as Netflix as well as numerous public institutions.

Speakers from AWS will include Andrzej Mizerkiewicz (Senior AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect), Dana Suliman (Senior Database Specialist) and Elena Dimova (Account Executive).

allOps is headquartered in Mostar, with offices in Sarajevo and Zagreb, and focuses exclusively on AWS cloud computing, operations and training.

It was founded in 2017 by Dženan Dževlan and Dženana Dževlan, who both hold the title of AWS Hero. Only 255 people worldwide hold this prestigious title, awarded exclusively to distinguished experts who have made an outstanding contribution to businesses through AWS.
