About the Role

In the Cloud Operations / DevOps Engineer role, you will have the opportunity to work with and use a wide range of DevOps tools and technologies, including:

• Writing infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Writing automation scripts, CLI tools, and programs using Python, Go, or other scripting-oriented languages

• Working with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Working with Linux/UNIX operating systems

• Automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, and similar tools

• Containerization and orchestration of containerized applications using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm

• Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Cloud / DevOps technologies and who shares our values. The ideal candidate for this role has the following:

Technical Skills and Experience

• An AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)

• Experience working with the AWS cloud platform in production environments

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages

• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins)

• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, Docker Swarm)

• Understanding of and experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Experience working with Linux/UNIX systems
