AWS Cost Optimization in Eight Days | allOps

8 DAYS · SCOPED PRICE · SAVINGS IMPLEMENTED

Cut the AWS bill in eight days, for a price you know up front.

Most cost reviews hand you a spreadsheet of theoretical savings and leave the implementation to a team that does not have the time. This one ends with the changes made, the savings visible in the next invoice, and monitoring in place so the bill does not creep back.

The situation

The bill goes up every quarter and the honest answer to why is usually a mix of three things: a resource provisioned for a launch and never resized, a storage class nobody revisited, and a workload that grew without anyone owning its cost. None of these are hard to fix. All of them are hard to get prioritised, because saving money is nobody's roadmap item.

Eight days, a price agreed up front, done by people who do not need your engineers to explain AWS to them.

What you get

  • A full cost analysis of the estate, with the waste separated from the spend that is doing real work.

  • The savings implemented in your estate. Rightsizing, storage lifecycle, commitment coverage, idle resource removal, whatever the analysis actually finds.

  • Cost monitoring and alerting configured, so the next drift is caught within a week.

  • Cost attribution set up by team, environment or product, so somebody owns each line.

  • A written summary with the before number, the after number and the annualised effect.

Scope

In scope

  • Eight effort days across two calendar weeks.

  • Analysis, implementation of the agreed changes, monitoring setup, and the written summary.

Out of scope

  • Architectural rework. If the cheapest fix is a different architecture, that is a separate engagement and you will be told so plainly.

  • Ongoing cost management after the two weeks. That is Managed Services.

  • Negotiating your AWS agreement. That is a conversation with AWS or with allOps as a reseller, separately.

How the price is set

Eight days, quoted before signature. The number is based on the estate size and agreed before work starts; it does not move with hours.

Proof

Lighthouse: cloud costs down 22 percent and the data pipeline 30 percent faster. TrueStay: AI spend down by up to 90 percent after moving the workloads onto Bedrock, while the product scaled past 16,000 users. allOps is also an AWS reseller, which means the consumption stays optimized and attributed after the engagement ends.

We consolidated Lighthouse onto AWS, cut cloud costs by 22%, and sped up its data pipeline by 30%

FAQ

How much will we actually save?

Most estates that have not been properly reviewed in a year carry somewhere between 15 and 30 percent of avoidable spend. That range comes from experience and cannot tell you about your own estate. The assessment does that, before you commit to implementing anything.

Will this break something?

Every change is agreed with you before it is made and executed inside your change process. Rightsizing production without a conversation is how cost work gets a bad name.

What stops the bill creeping back up?

The monitoring and the attribution. A saving that nobody owns comes back within two quarters, which is why the setup work sits inside the scope.

Can you do this on a percentage of savings instead?

A gain-share arrangement is possible for larger estates and is discussed case by case. For most companies the scoped price is cheaper, because the savings usually outrun the fee within the first quarter.
